Two ebay listings, same Buffalo?

I was checking out ebay listings and stumbled on to this Buffalo

Current listing

https://ebay.com/itm/154442953668?hash=item23f58473c4:g:o5kAAOSwezBglHMr

To me, it looks similar to this Buffalo from a prior sale.

Previous listing

https://ebay.com/itm/154401141557?hash=item23f3067335%3Ag%3Akx0AAOSwP61gaNJb&nma=true&si=hRxm24TtG5P6S869EY932ETfPsk%253D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

Could this be the same coin?

Why would they have cracked it out?

Might be from the same roll, hence the similar (but not identical) appearance.

Sure looks the same, I am not sure why it would be though. The original sale of the coin for 17 hundred is from a buffalo specialist who found it in an old PCI 45 Holder and asked me to submit it for him. I did and it came back 62. Late die erosion or whatever, I dont know why anybody would crack that and try and sell raw.

That's a very unattractive coin IMO. I'd rather have a nice AU58 than that coin.

@ricko That was my feeling. But I also agree with koynekwest in that I would not want either one. They are both very ugly coins.

Yep. Some of them really were minted that badly in 1918.

If it is the same coin the $300 loss serves them right for such BS about "from original roll" on almost every listing they make.

I have a feeling this Buffalo will show up in another listing soon.

To me it looks like a dead ringer to the slabbed coin.
    I vote the same.
