ive seen a lot of these types of ads over the past 18-24 months, unfortunately.
they often times have some legitimate coins images but usually, just mostly fake.
morgans, peace, ase, gae, buffalos etc.
About a year ago, i had a guy come in with a complete fake set all dates and mm in whitman album. Apparently, he met a lady up at a local bank and paid her like 6k in cash for the set. Him thinking he is making a huge score, gets screwed not knowing they are all fake. When I told him what he had, he literally about threw up
Yea that’s why if you buy online, you buy them graded. You cannot ever really know the condition or authenticity from a grainy computer image. Besides a few well known and trusted sellers on ebay or forum, I would stick to buying raw silver dollars at coin shop or coin shows were there are dealers you can talk with to get a second opinion.

Yes, the ones you will get will be all fake. They show some real ones to fool buyers, but, don't worry, you won't get any of them.

Well you'll have a very hard time putting together a set that is so well matched in appearance.
I think he's lying - He knew exactly what he had and bought them from an ad like the one shown and just made up that story.

I bet they make a ton of money fooling gullible people. They send you fakes and if you only buy one or two you may think that it is too costly to send them back, so you just eat the loss.
I have a Fisch wallet which includes Morgan dollars. I have never used it but this person should have at least had it or an equivalent, if there is one.
Importing counterfeits is illegal, but i doubt anything will be done about it.
