if Dak is as right as he says he is, it will be

    "How 'bout those Cowboys"

at least until the playoffs start

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

I also believe the Cowboys will win the division. I think Dak will come back and play well and they will get it done.

I have never understood why Dallas is in the NFC East.

Or why New Orleans used to be in the NFC West.

If my recall of US geography is correct Dallas is west of New Orleans and New Orleans is east of Dallas.

    What gives?

I hated to have to pick Jerry and dem' boys, but I'm very serious about winning and I want to be as right about this as possible. When it comes to winning, I turn very serious. If you could see my face right now, I have a very serious look on my face.

I am sure it had to do with expansion and making sure the divisions were of an equal size.

remember when the Atlanta Braves were in the NL West?

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

I'm sorry Steve, we have to face it, the NFC East just isn't what it used to be. I know it's tough, but we have to face the facts.

When the league did a reshuffling of teams the Cowboys were destined for the NFC South. Jerry Jones put the stops on it because of the draw of the half century old rivalry between the Cowboys, Redskins and Eagles. He had enough pull to end the discussion and stay in the East. Maybe someone can remember the year?

You're right, and of course adding the Giants. This isn't like it is 1920 or whatever when teams had to take the train to play each other. Now ya hop on a plane and you're there, no big deal.

Jones was correct not to interfere with the draw between the NFC East teams.

Bad news Steve, the odds just came out and Caesars Sportsbook says Dallas is the odds favorite to win the NFC East, so when you place your bet, it might be a good idea to go with the Cowboys.

    Dallas Cowboys, Odds: +105

    Washington Football Team, Odds: +275

    New York Giants, Odds: +450

    Philadelphia Eagles, Odds: +500

I am a lifelong Patriots fan who has been living a short drive from where the Cowboys plays for many years now. And I spent this time soaking in and enjoying all of the Jerry Jones stories. There are, of course, plenty of reasons for Cowboys fans to be upset with the Jones family. But at the same time, the positive stories, and fascinating stories, are endless.

In a surprising, if not quite legal development, the Raiders have announced they are leaving the
AFC west and will be joining the NFC east. A team official said, well we've pretty much been kicked
out of California and over the next 10-20 years we'll gradually be making our way East so this
move makes perfect sense for us. We're like nomads wandering through the US looking for a home
where someone actually wants us and quite frankly we're not having much success.
Gruden was heard to say, yes I made a huge mistake taking a coaching job in the same division with
the Chiefs and since I'll never beat them we're simply moving to a division where we feel we can
win it with maybe a 6-11 record or maybe even 5-12.

You are correct and luckily I realized it even before you posted so I had already chosen
to take the honorable route and bash the Raiders instead. :*

For the sake of accuracy, the New York Giants have won two SuperBowls this century, the Eagles one and that’s it for the NFC East. Still, two titles is as many as the Pittsburgh, Baltimore and Tampa Bay franchises and more than any other team besides the Patriots.

But, hey, keep picking the Cowboys.
