Anyone collect Sacagawea/Native American dollars in coin book?

Anyone here collect Sacagawea dollars in Whitman coin album? I really want to collect this series but I worry that my coins will turn brown/green over time. Does this happen if they are in the coin book for a long time?

Me thinks it depends on the archival quality of album composition, environmental storage conditions and how clean the coin is at time of collection. Peace Roy

The only Sacs I have is a completed Dansco. Well completed to 2020 cause I quit buying crap from the mint. They all still look good.

Never put a zinc cent in a Whitman.
I collect 'em in a couple of Danscos.
I put the newer coin albums with BU coins in Zip Lock bags, so far good luck, no tarnishing or nothing,
I do not collect the Sacs as a series.... However, if I were to do that, it would be slabbed... Would not trust them long term in an album. Cheers, RickO
I bought an album today.... wish me luck
That's interesting. I have just recently got around to finishing up on the Lincoln cent set. It's complete. They are all in 2x2 cardboard flips. I was going to put them in a Whitman folder. Now I don't know. Is it something different about the Whitman folders? What about Dansco? If you can get one.
Don’t know about Dansco, but you can see what happened in the Whitman. Pre zincs are ok.
I have some in 2*2 folders, but I would not say that it is a collection by any means...
I've had my coins almost entirely in Whitman blue folders since the day I started out as a kid, and must be lucky - - not a single case of tarnish/etc anywhere.......... I must live a charmed life......
(that includes all dollar coins, incl Sac/N.A.)
Some of mine have been in a Dansco since 2000 with no apparent ill effects.
Modern folders and albums are inert, and they should have been back when that one was made, too (it looks like it's about 30 years old). I've never seen Zincoln corrosion like that in any Whitman folder. If it's yours and you'd like a replacement, drop me a line and I'll get one in the mail for you.
Best wishes,

That looks as if it has been stored in a damp place.
I have presidential, and sac/natives in dansco and have had no issues. I live where there is low humidity. I did have Lincoln cents darken in a dansco when I lived in a region with very high humidity.
