That is wildly cool! The 1861-S Seated Liberty half with a chop mark it mighty unusual, isn't it?
I feel like S mint half dollars, after trade dollars of course, is the US coins I see the most with chops.
Now the chopmarked Morgan dollar above is mighty unusual 😄

The chop on the 1779 is pretty cool, but so far I haven't heard anything as to its meaning.. nice original Carolus III though.> @TwoKopeiki said:
Neat BOE Dollar stamp. The host 8 Reales seems to be double struck, as well. Any significance to the chop on the 1779?
It was a fun but rather quickly assembled project. It would be cool to put together an heirloom quality cabinet one day I suppose. This one suits nicely for now.
Its mainly filled up with lower valued but interesting pieces that I get to enjoy on a daily basis..
The fancier stuff makes occasional appearances from the SDB..🙂

I recognize a few of these coins. @jayPem has a very nice collection.
@TwoKopeiki that's a really nice incuse chop, one that you're much more likely to see on a pillar than a portrait. Scarce combo and great condition 👍
I'm pretty sure I sent pics of the incuse to Dan at one point...but it was probably years ago 🤔
I was kinda hoping his further delving into translating chops would maybe shed some light on this one some day!

Nice cabinet and some really interesting coins.... I like that silver bar very much, quite unique. Nice gold bar as well. Cheers, RickO
Nice setup! I love that "potty dollar". Someday I'll find one just for the heck of it.
