Success at last in a European auction!
Its one I've been after for a long time, it just arrived and looks quite nice in hand.
Now I have to make sure it's authentic...😅

It's authentic. Congrats - very nice example of a scarcer counterstamp. Host 8R is also double-struck. I have been hesitating to add an example as a type and that coin would definitely qualify.

2K, I was so excited when this arrived and I was able to get a good look at that in hand!
Pretty much everything on the obverse has some amount of doubling, some faint some bold. I like the slightly off center strike too.
I've passed on a good number of these the last few years, made sure this one didn't get away! And probably overpaid plenty for the privilege 😅
Next up in the set for me will hopefully be a couple oval 4 reales..
And maybe a non-regal octagonal stamp or 2 would be great as well.. if anyone has any they would like to part with 😉
