Try and make the case that Nolan Arenado isn't the greatest third baseman of all time.
Pros -
His fielding percentage at third base is third all time. He's even ahead of Brooks Robinson in fielding percentage.
Only Placido Polanco and Mike Lowell have a better fielding percentage all time over Nolan.
He's one of only six infielders to win 8 consecutive gold glove awards. Brooks Robinson did it also.
He's only 30 years old and will win more gold gloves this year and beyond.
He's the #1 all time leading slugging percentage leader at 3B in both leagues. (If you put Miggy Cabrera at 1B instead of 3B)
Yes, he's ahead of Alex Rodriguez, Chipper Jones, and Mike Schmidt in slugging percentage all time.
Nolan is #1, and every one else in the history of baseball at 3B is behind him..
Cons-
He's not had enough years yet to qualify as the best ever.
He played his entire career at Coors field, but he now plays in St. Louis.
OK. What have I left out ?

Perhaps it's because you were born in Newport Beach, CA (home of PSA), that no one is trying to make the case Nolan.
You are Brooks Robinson with a bat. Being that no one has tried to knock you off your throne, we can assume if you
stay healthy, and are able to keep winning gold gloves in St. Louis, while having a decent bat (which will be hard to do not playing in the friendly confines of Coors Field), then perhaps you can one day be called the best 3B ever,
So keep it up and one day you will knock George Brett off his throne.
I’m not sure what he’s classified as but A-Rod is in the discussion/at the top of the list.

@Goldenage
Many great players have come and gone and most start strong and then slowly fade out. We’ll have to see what the fade looks like on Nolan.
Mickey Mantle was a career .300 hitter whose last two seasons ultimately dipped the career average below that.

You are kidding right?
I'm a diehard Cardinal fan and would love to agree but even I can't make that claim. George Brett looms way too large to put Arenado in the same conversation anytime soon, if ever. And being a good hitter at Coors Field is like being a good slam dunker on a 7 ft. rim. We'll see how he performs now that he's in a real ballpark.

If you mean me, about what? Albert Pujols is doing similarly right now.
