I can't wait to see this in hand!

I don't normally like to post about stuff that's on the way, but I just can't wait to get this in my hands. From the BS&T; my favorite place to shop!

Maybe net graded due to the coppery color on the reverse?

Q: When does a collector become a numismatist?

A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.

A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.

Don’t want to be a downer but photo looks edited to me. Zoom in on cheek and field above 1904 for example. Looks blurred vs the rest of the image.

Could just be image artifacts. Dunno.

Most common of all coronet double eagles — yet still appreciated by all as a big chunk of old gold. 👍🏻

@Lazybones.... That looks like a real beauty.... Just something about 'big gold' coins that mesmerizes me... Love to see and hold them. Cheers, RickO

I had the same thought. Once you get it, can we get pics of what it actually looks like?

Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

    Cool coin

Nice one, The coin has the appearance of an MS66 (reverse) and even MS67 (obverse).

I think what might have held the grade back is a tiny amount of "rub" on the cheek and neck.
It would be necessary to inspect the coin in person to be sure.

Looks like it might be a doctored image to me.
