Scratched Peace Dollars

This is painful to see. These look like MS62-63 and possibly a 64, all with short, thick scratches. Wonder how this happened five times, are these staple scratches?

    Cannot see the scratches, could be many causes.... surprised at the prices.... I would not pay that for a scratched coin. Cheers, RickO
