Full steps? First time I have looked for them.

I wasn't even aware that Full Steps was a thing till recently. Looking through my proof sets thinking I would try to photograph some coins I took a close look at all the coins. My eyes just aren't good enough even with a magnifier...
Seems the nickels pick up a little toning over time.
I know very little about this, but here's a shot at it.

Proof Jeffersons will pretty much always have full steps. It's the business strikes you need to look out for.
Yes but proofs do not get the FS on the slabs because they are expected to have FS.

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
Very nice coin!
Thanks for the information, I appreciate it.
It’s still worth a nickel!
Funny how breaking up sets brings more money?
As stated, FS on proof nickels is not a special feature.... Rather to be expected. A good reason to seek out old mint sets though... I watch for them at yard sales, flea markets etc.. Cheers, RickO
Yeah the coin is gorgeous. I don't need any more proof sets though. I think I have 64 of them at last count. haha
For Proofs - I don't think it matters.
