1935 BUFF CHERRY

I won this ebay https://ebay.com/itm/324545727888 auction. I paid just $1.35. I got the coin and it looks like it is in VG condition. See details below:

I have no idea of the value but it does look like you scored, nice find.

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
You can still find that one on occasion. I have cherried 25 or so over the last 30 years here in Northeast Ohio, mostly in VG-VF but also a couple in full XF and one EMDS that slabbed AU58.
BTW-nice cherrypick bigtony!
Great pick up. So easy to see the doubling. I wish I still had the AU55 I cherry picked from an AU/BU roll I bought 20+ years ago.

I shoulda kept the AU58 but at the time the $$ was more important. I still have both XF coins tho one is cleaned and the other has a nasty obv scratch.
Wow! Nice score bigT. I have looked at hundreds and never found one yet. Getting a little harder to find rolls that haven't been cherrypicked thru.

That's a nice find, it's not one I usually look for because they never show up. Great eye!

Keep lookin', especially in junk boxes of Buffs. Like most die varieties they were released regionally so in some parts of the country they may be easier to find than in others.
My first one I found was in a buff junk box. The second was slabbed in Anacs holder Fine but cleaned. This my third one. I sold the first one as it was a vg but corroded red so less appealing. I search for any 2 feathers, 14, 16, 17d, 18d, 26d, 35 & 36d. I did find a 18d/7 at a coin shop for $30 which i sold for $450.
Greysheet = $40 in good and $50 in vg.
They have also added the 26d 3 1/2 legger to the greysheet.
Really? They need to ad the 1913 Var 1, 1917-D, and 1927-D too. But then again maybe not. We don't want dealers to be aware of these so we can continue to cherrypick 'em.
Nice eye @bigtonydallas
I wish I would have kept this one.
That's a nice one!
Very nice coin!!!
