I sent in 5 crisp Iverson Topps rookie cards I had laying around during the peak when I saw PSA 10’s fetching $1300 and 9’s getting $300…By the time I got back my 2 10’s and 3 9’s the 10’s were under $100 lol…I sent in a couple dozen other 80’s/90’s cards at that same time but it was those Iverson 10 prices that got me off the couch and pulling a sub together just before the stoppage.

Was wondering as the quote from PSA President Steve Sloan said 100,000 a day, what exactly are they sending. Would be intersting to see what was being sent and a breakdown of the ellusive 10s etc.
Good for PSA but prices could be lower with a glut of graded cards on the market in the future?
I had the opportunity to speak with the Director of Customer Experience at PSA about the lag time and was told 'you wouldn't believe the amount of new product is being sent in. Customers are sending us boatloads of 2022/2023 cards every day.'....I think there is no avoiding a repeat of the mid 1980-1990 devaluation due to over production. Also...the large amount of unopened material being hoarded by the big players will eventually hit the market to further decrease value.

I sold hard during the peak. Probably should have sold more but what's the point of collecting if you don't keep anything.
I'm in 'jail' now.. but... that was the smartest thing you could have done. That was insane. It was the greatest 'get back any money you think you lost in this hobby' timeframe ever. Fully support ANYONE who dumped all their stuff during that period. It was a luxurious time to sell. Now without any mortgage or car payments..... the wife can actually have an ongoing list
