I am new here but I just looked this Penny in the Official Red Book 3rd Edition.
States 1988-D
Circulation Mintage of 5,253,740,443. Is that right? Over 5 Billion 253 Million 740 Thousand and 443 of these made. That seems like ALOT for rare. Let me know if I am way off base that is a nice looking penny.
