Hi all-

No problem. Less work and fees for me! B)

No problems. Absolutely love it. Cheaper and really easier to see the specifics than in that God-awful PayPal spreadsheet.

Transfers have been as quick as PayPal. I only do them weekly but most payments clear in 24 hours or less and the transfers occur in 24 hours. There does seem to be a delay in clearing payments over weekends for some reason, but it doesn't affect me since I transfer weekly.

Heads up- eBay charges an additional fee if your buyer's registered address is outside the US even if his shipping address is in the US. I don't remember seeing this with PayPal.

It depends where their payment method is registered. I’ve had people with US addresses pay through PayPal and be charged the 4.4% fee (their PayPal or credit card must have been from a foreign country and they were just using a US address).

PayPal had a different rate for some non-US customers.

I don't actually understand the fees on this item

They appear to have charged the final value fee only on the sale price WITHOUT the shipping. If so, that's a loophole worth exploiting.

There is a 1.5% added charge for Ireland.

    Found this:

    International fee
If your registered address is in the US, we charge an International fee if either:

-The delivery address for the item (entered by the buyer during checkout) is outside the US, or
-The buyer's registered address is outside the US (regardless of the delivery address for the item)

This fee is calculated as 1.65% of the total amount of the sale and is automatically deducted from your sales.

No issues on this end. In my case, it takes 48 hrs for the funds to become available after payment is made & an additional 48 hrs to reach my checking account after ebay transfers the funds once a week.

Seems to work alright but I see that eBay charges the 12.35% +.30 on individual cards total price which includes the shipping charge and the sales tax. So basically we're paying that 12.35% on whatever the sales tax is for the card. The old way eBay didn't do that just the item price and the shipping price. Not sure if PayPal charged a fee on the sales tax though. It can get somewhat expensive on a high dollar card.

Paypal did charge the fee. EBay also now gives you 10% toprated discount on the whole ball of wax also.

The combined fee is cheaper. Do only a 10% sales tax state raises the cost.

I filled out the application and am supposed to start in a couple weeks. Now I hope it works well as PAYPAL just made my list of 100 corporations to avoid. I have bought some items from a person where the eBay transition was not very smooth, so I will slowly step into it as a seller.

It has worked well for me. The funds go to my business bank account and last week I took some of that cash to a show I setup at.

I was moved into MP a couple of weeks ago. Everything seems to be going smoothly, my first payout was on Tuesday last week, the money showed as deposited in my bank account on Wednesday.

Finally signed up last week so I don't have much experience yet. I do know the total fees are slightly lower. I also like the fact that I can pay for my labels with a credit card instead of my PayPal balance netting me a small credit card bonus reward on each label.
