Do you think this card can get a PSA 10 with 2 small flaws?

(The top corner looks nicked but isn't, just the lighting)

Back has two small dings/dimples. Can only see from certain angles.
I forgot which category PSA was the most lenient on. What do you think?

Based on the corners, no, but if the "dimple" is an impression into the card, I would say likely a 5 or 6 at best

Idk why the corner look so weird in this specific pic, but it's perfectly fine. The dimples are shallow, can't feel them

That "corner" and that "indentation" is enough to prevent this from getting a 10 IMO.

The corner looks damaged in this pic but isn't, it is fine

No. From what I am hearing on these boards, a lot of flawless cards are getting 9's.

    No chance at 10.

My advice is always this, to novice collectors and seasoned veterans alike:

If YOU think you see a flaw, a professional grader will definitely see it, too, and penalize accordingly for it.

With that corner and those dimples it is a 5. And that is the steep learning curve that all collectors must learn as they start to send their cards off for professional grading.

If it’s me, I would study the already PSA 10 graded examples hard and then if I don’t have a perfect (and I do mean perfect) match of the card, I would look for another copy of card. A dimple or light scratches or even minor chipping is going to negate any chance at ten. And honestly it’s sometimes cheaper to buy the ten than try to submit for it.

Hope it helps as that’s my only
    intent with the post.

Isn’t a Gem Mint PSA 10 suppose to be flawless?

Those dimples hurt surface grade that much?

I think so, yes, as they ‘break the surface’ and are easy to spot. Modern cards are really tough and again, that corner may be fine but it sure doesn’t look it and I’m factoring that in to the grade, as well.

Yes, they do. I had a Griffey Jr. Upper Deck RC that was flawless, until I got the grade back and spotted a small dimple, card graded a 5.

ive had PLENTY of dimpled cards (especially Panini Prizm and some 2017 and 2018 Topps paper) get 9's due to dimples. some of the Prizm cards had multiple dimples in spots. I think if they aren't huge eyesores, they can be treated like fisheyes and will usually 9 out. however, ive seen plenty of dimpled chrome/prizm cards gem with dimples. comes down to eye appeal and subjectivity.

ive had a card (1997 Bowmans Best) with a small crimp indent on the back get an 8. the pink below (I owned two and both had a dimple in the same spot) must've been debris on the printing plate. the one of them I graded got a 9. the stuttered indents on the other one got an 8.

as for that corner, its completely jacked. theres no way it will get a 10. ive seen some 10's with funky corners, but not that bad. that should be a 6 or lower on a good day. you say its lighting, im saying that corner looks like you dropped it square on its corner. show more pics.
