Wow!! Second White Whale Harpooned in One Week! Never Say Never!
Afternoon,
So I received today, after Sundays win, a Partial Vending Brick (As they are Known as) of 1945 Mutoscope Artists Pin-Ups Non Sport Cards along with the Original Vending Box/Brick. Although not a full 500 Card Brick, its still is a 1945 Mutoscope Artists Pin-Ups Vending Box of 276 Cards! I have always wanted to be able to get one of these and sit down and open it and go through 500 Pristine Cards. Close Enough! Over the years I have had numerous Lots that came straight from Vending (One lot of over a Hundred) and some that said they were, but weren't! This is pretty close to the Fantasy!
This Box exhibits Wear and Damage, I have just started to go through the Cards in the Box, you can tell besides the Damage on the end, the Box was submitted to some rough handling, exhibited by some touches on some Cards here and there! But this only affects about 25-30 cards!
Now over the years there have been a dozen or so Vending Boxes of these cards come up at the AH's, most recently that I can find were a REA Box that went in their Fall 2015 Auction for $13,200, and a 2112 Auction for $7,000.00. and what I believe is an Outlier at Memory Lane in 2018 for $3000, which also was a not a perfect Box, although better than this one. The Buy on this (the one I got today) was a Steal as well!
Here Ya Go:
So They Say things always happen in 3's.....We'll See!!
Thanks

Congratulations again!!! Those look great. As mentioned the colors and condition look amazing!
I really need to pick some of these cards up. I'm a huge fan of pin up art. Condition wouldn't be huge issue for me since I just love the art.
Any advice on places to keep an eye out other than ebay?
Congrats again!!
Afternoon All,
Thanks, and Todd, thanks for the Link, I think (Although a Different Muto Girly Girl Set from the Same time, I think it shows the value of Vending!)
I should pick up at least 2-4 sets out of this lot hopefully, or Murphy's law, 4 sets missing the Same Card in all 4! I will pull all the Cards going to PSA (Although that will be on hold for Now) and thence how many sets I can collate!
Have A Great Day
YeeHaw!

Believe it or not I have found Cards at what I called Antiques Row in Denver, one time I found 4 Vendors that I bought Cards and Comics from. Here in Phoenix now, we have the same in Apache Junction, Prescott, and Sedona, all Antique Meccas!
As has been said, those look awesome!
Congrats!
That's a big congratulations Neil!
I think those are way too cool from a kinder gentler time where that was "it."
Don't know if you remember? I think Morrellman was a collector.
Oh. And I always like a bargain buddy.
Actually I do sorta remember that!
Thanks Mike

That's how Neil got his 2nd and 5th wives.
Not Really.........But #6, you Never Know! Svetlanta from Croatia (Most Beautiful Women in all of Europe!) has a Real Ring to it, as long as nobody Taught her to Speak English to screw it up! I always told Wife #5 I was going to find a Svetlanta to replace her....She would tell me "Good Luck", the only thing I had coming was an OLGA from Germany!
YeeHaw!
