GCGS grading company?

Hi all,
I brought a few graded coins from a company named GCGS back around close to 10 years ago (didn't know much back then). I did some research recently and found that they are not a reputable company. So should I just crack these and the rest of the graded coins open or just leave it inside?

Once I own them, I'd leave them as is.

Just leave them as is. At least they protect the coins.

These types of "slabs" are good "junk box" sellers for me at coin shows.
(When there were such a thing as coin shows.)

Thank you all for your answers.

    More question:
Are these grades even close to what they say they are?
If I were to sell them, how should I sell them? Like for ebay, if i were to sell the quarter. Do I start the auction at 25 cents?

No quarters there as stated above....Start the auction at the price you paid for them....Cheers, RickO

Get your loupe out and examine each coin, use our hosts grading guide so you know what you have. While you're at it, check for errors. Let us know if you find anything noteworthy. Peace Roy

I would leave as is go with grades on holders. Would just put in box with my self slabbed coins.

Price at CPG or CW Trends. Open to negotiation if room.

Grades? Based on pics look good enough for me. If they from ms or pf sets that’s basically how they come from mint lol.

I don't own a loupe because I don't really collect coins as much. I was just buying back then for the fun of it. Now a days I do research first LOL. I might buy a loupe on amazon. Any suggestions on which one to buy? I was looking at this:

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B015VGEBS4/ref=sspa_dk_detail_3?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B015VGEBS4&pd_rd_w=vjRca&pf_rd_p=cbc856ed-1371-4f23-b89d-d3fb30edf66d&pd_rd_wg=cuJJs&pf_rd_r=7V9F8EHZ1RQT9XJ15XM8&pd_rd_r=546d4dd5-b778-47ec-b414-f5889b7847ae&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzQ0FSQklXUjRLWkhYJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMjE3MzI3MkZQUDZLN1BYQUNQWCZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwODM0OTgxMVNMOUFWSFdTUTIxTCZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2RldGFpbF90aGVtYXRpYyZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=

or just a regular on would be fine?

I use, and recommend, a Zeiss 3x6x9.... clarity, multiple magnification, small and easy to carry. Cheers, RickO

No need to break the bank but a loupe is an essentisl tool.

As for the coins, consider them raw. Crack them out or consider the plastic just a fancy 2x2

Reality is, even a quality company like ANACs graded coins get little respect at the time of resale.

Yet 9 out of 10 would cross at or within a point of our host.

Alot of times, unless hunting for varities I ignore ICG, ANACs, and NGC because I know it will cost $30 to cross to PCGS.
