I like the GPS scanner thing, did not know that. I would at least take the tracking number to the USPS and ask specifically. They have more in house data that is tracked that is not available on the website. If that does not work then I might ask for a postal inspector since I would suspect one of the local employees of theft...
One of the issues that I am dealing with is that I work in a 12 story building. If the azzhat put the package in the wrong box, I am at the mercy of the honesty of the other 60 businesses in this building, and half of the building is empty since COVID started. Could be in a box that hasn't been opened in months.

The person who delivers there needs to open every box in your or a postal inspector's presence.

Bring the tracking to your local post office. Somebody there can check on the GPS as to where the package was delivered and the carrier will get it back. The sooner you do it the better.
True story. This happened to me last year. The GPS showed my parcel was delivered two houses away from me. I had to go knock on my neighbor’s door and ask them for it. After some rummaging around they found it. They had opened the package (!) but fortunately the contents (coins) were intact. Whew!
My mailman has had to track down packages he mistakenly left at a neighbors house,,,,,, I often wonder WHY the neighbor didn't return them without being asked????
It is possible that even though you got the tracking numbers from the shippers, they had a number transposed on the address. An early eBay scam involved selling expensive stuff and sending worthless things to businesses in same zip code with tracking. The tracking showed delivered.
Have you filed a complaint with the postal inspector?

If he told you which neighbor it was go ask them.
My post office won’t say where they mis-delivered it to, I would imagine that is a company rule,

He already has the package. It was at a neighbor.
