Wish I could offer sound advice but I been out of following MLB let alone fantasy baseball. I mean they got Betts and Acuna as the top two in the rankings I think so why not one of them?
Yes - those two, DeGrom and Cole lead the pack for me, along with Trea Turner.

Betts, Soto, Tatis, Trout, Acuna, Degrom, Cole. Take your pick. Any of them would work just fine.
PSA HOF Baseball Postwar Rookies Set Registry- (Currently 80.51% Complete)
PSA Pro Football HOF Rookie Players Set Registry- (Currently 19.80% Complete)

It’s a battle between Soto and Acuna. Please, don’t take a pitcher #1.
Cole, Scherzer and Kershaw were my first 3 picks...

Trout is still number1 with me then Tatis and DeGrom.
When I looked at where guys were going in drafts, I decided to take pitching early and hitting later on. It’s a long season so we’ll see how it goes. I think deGrom is awesome but they have no bullpen and that limits his win upside.
But believe me, I hated passing on Mike Trout.

Arenado went that late? I thought he was a top 10 pick..
He was coming off a disappointment of a shortened season, he’s now 30 and there was some concern in rotisserie/fantasy circles over how he would fair having left the friendly confines of Coors Field for half of his games.
He was the 40th player taken so it wasn’t too far a fall what but with all the players that get hyped into the top 25 each year, he was a player I was banking on being there for my pitching heavy roster draft work out.

@1951WheatiesPremium After I posted I checked his stats out and didn’t realize his age ect.. I been away from fantasy BB for awhile lol
St. Louis has been a place of many a career resurgence and I think a banged up 48 games was an aberration. He’s going to have a big year, I believe.

Up there for best season I have ever had. I took over first place in the second week of the season and never looked back. The best possible mix of luck and good drafting I ever had.
I did well on waivers but kept the following intact all year - both catchers despite playing Perez for 150 games, Goldy, Nolan, Bryant and Ohtani on offense. Pitchers I stuck with Cole, Max, Clayton, Aroldis and Iglesias wire to wire.
I landed Trea Turner in trade for Javier Baez and Kenley Jansen when both SS had yet to be traded and Turner getting 2B eligibility was very key as well.
