What's the deal with everything you post a link to something else?
There are a few members who just use this place to dump ebay partner network links.
Some hide it better than others, some have been banned in the past.
You don't see the reverse, perhaps the second was mis labeled and is actually a 1935 S or perhaps a VAM4 DDR. Something surely other than two people in a bidding war.

Congrats to the seller of the CAC piece he really banked. Buyer well end user lol. Somebody got in a bid war! People will bid moon money for CAC, toners, rainbow, etc.
The buyer of non CAC piece got a nice deal allowing room for nice retail - I would sell it say $625.
That issue a high demand coin easy to retail (ones have handled in past).

Can't figure that one out. I see no logical reason for it.

Collector, occasional seller
That's another one I'm having trouble figuring out.
Can't figure this one!
That’s just nuts!
The coin’s not worth more than $600 give or take, IMHO.

Perhaps the bidding history may indicate something.... Or maybe the CAC sticker is the difference - for those bidders... Cheers, RickO

No, neither a 35S nor a VAM4(which is a doubled obverse) my bad.

For comparison, here's a 35 S in pcgs 66 from the same auction date. It's Still a big difference in results.

2 months later and a cac sticker?? 😮
1935 $ MS65 CPG is 618 / 780 CAC.

The GC 66 35-s $ certainly appears PQ.
