    Thanks for the article. Sure looks like the spot price (paper silver and gold) is certainly causing problems in the production of gold and silver bullion items, at least for the US Mint.

    Interesting article.... and the mint seems hamstrung by regulations.... Typical of government bureaucracies. Cheers, RickO

    I suspect that the issue is more related to fabrication of planchets (ie, volumes required to meet demand) than a spot/physical disconnect.
