Thumbnail Images of 100 slabbed coins

In my quest to image all of my slabbed coins, I’m now up to 100. The vast majority, about 85%, were taken with my iphone, the rest are cropped Trueviews or from older pictures from other sources. I’m going to end up retaking some of them, now that I’m starting to get a better handle on the lighting, but I thought I’d show how the thumbnails look in my iphone album today.

Awesome images! what sort of phone do you use? I had been taking image files with a Canon Powershot (12 Mpxl) but had difficulties with the lighting. I'm hoping my Samsung Galaxy S8 will do a little better, but I don't have a tripod to mount it on. Anyway, thanks for sharing!

Thanks. I’m using an iPhone 12 Pro. The lighting has been the trickiest thing. I’m currently using a generic version of an LED Ott and also 2 small fluorescent Ott lights on the sides. I balanced the phone on top of a wide mouth bottle as a tripod to keep things level and use the built in timer in the iPhone camera so the phone doesn’t shake when it takes the picture.
