another fake on the bay, no surprise.
This is a 1878 CC morgan counterfeit this time. Two major giveaways or tells that it is a fake. First the wear patterns on the observe and reverse dont match. Second even though the breast on the reverse has some wear, you can see its a raised breast type of 79. There are no 78 rev of 79 CC morgans.
Can someone post the pics to this thread? Can we get some reports in and get this taken down?

man, such a rare variety too. 78-cc rev of 79 large cc!!! if they keep this clumsiness up we may have to start assigning R numbers and attributions!!! then we can truly get counterfeit counterfeits.
VERY unusual effect at k3 obv/rev. perhaps EOC can help identify? @ErrorsOnCoins
