Well... Maybe I will break down and order a proof set... Stopped buying them about ten years ago....But that quarter and Sac dollar have really attractive reverses. Well deserving of proof examples. Cheers, RickO
FINALLY back to the original Washington obverse!! The various collectable reverses over the last 23 years were cool and all, but I was NEVER a fan of the modified obverse. Way too "busy" IMHO...
one of the things I like the most about this set is that the ATB washington obv and classic [newest] obv can be compared side by side — really does show how superior the washington bust is on the classic [newest] obv

i don't know if it is just your images but those coins surfaces look uber duper sick!
the contrast and overall quality make these, what? pr70+DCAM
Man, I totally agree. That's some of the deepest Cams I've ever seen.
Think they have a chance to get a Cameo designation?
Pete
there is simply no way any of those go cameo except a mechanical error at the TPGs. maybe some weird outside chance some worn dies (lds) and/or poorly prepared dies and while those are certainly plausible, i've looked enough at the coins posted over the past 5+ years and even if the coins aren't 70, they are pretty snazzy, especially if they've cleared up their rinsing procedures which is/was one of the biggest hurdles for a few denoms. i think i recall seeing some 20s with that issue, if not they were 19s. something fairly recent.
w/o seeing the coins in high-res, i won't truly speak to if they get the 70 or not because the stopper can easily and unintentionally be hidden from just 1 set of mediocre images and i don't know the pops yet.
anyone going for 70s pr/bs need do so quick, get em back quick, flip em quick and/or watch the pops literally day-by-day and sales results. unless they want to hold for whatever reason. still need to look the coins over carefully. there are other strategies but i'm not up for that much typing just now. PLENTY of threads for new mint products (year-by-year) and thousands of posts to go with em.
the sba in the op is an example i'd probably not send off if that cheek is scuffed. not offense to the op or their coin(s).
ugh, why didn't i just hit the like button. ><
i DO look VERY much forward to seeing some TVs for pr70s for these. that contrast. wow
