If the coin market is "soft"

I wish someone would tell the people who keep bidding for what I want. >:)

Segments of the market are "soft" over the last 10+ years. Coins in general have been pretty hot this year. YMMV

It always goes in waves. I think the rise of interest in precious metals last year contributed a lot to people getting interested in coins. Plus people being home a lot more means more time to look for stuff online. :)

Ah yes. When I want a coin, the prices go up. Once I buy it, the prices will fall and sometimes abruptly so. I call it Cameonut’s Theorem.

I have found that any coin that I become interested in, is expensive. This is not so much the market though... more my taste in coins.... ;) Cheers, RickO

In what I mostly deal in, the market is much stronger than it has been in recent years. Seen some surprising auction results!

I have been building a WLH short set during the last year, and have recently noticed that prices have increased.

Barber's in proof, at the higher end of the grade scale have been very strong lately....A year ago, that was not the case. Supply is virtually non-existant...Very few coins to choose from.
