It always goes in waves. I think the rise of interest in precious metals last year contributed a lot to people getting interested in coins. Plus people being home a lot more means more time to look for stuff online.
I have found that any coin that I become interested in, is expensive. This is not so much the market though... more my taste in coins.... Cheers, RickO
Barber's in proof, at the higher end of the grade scale have been very strong lately....A year ago, that was not the case. Supply is virtually non-existant...Very few coins to choose from.

Segments of the market are "soft" over the last 10+ years. Coins in general have been pretty hot this year. YMMV

Ah yes. When I want a coin, the prices go up. Once I buy it, the prices will fall and sometimes abruptly so. I call it Cameonut’s Theorem.
