I would say there is little value to most collar clashes. Though it is a nice educational piece.
If you look at the Coin and Die sets that the US Mint put out... especially those dated 1998 and 1999, you will see a lot of quarter dies with major collar clashes. Very interesting to see it on an actual die.
I have not really noticed any numismatic premiums for collar clashes... Perhaps if it were severe... Maybe our error experts can add some information here... Cheers, RickO
