It is there back to 2013 in the new app called "Greysheet."

The data's there but there doesn't seem to be a way to expand or shrink the date range viewable on the graph in the Android app. And that initial range is different for different coins. On the web site there's the usual + and - buttons on the provided chart

I will inquire with my app developer and ask him what we can do. Specifically are you asking if we can make it behave more closely to the web site charting? Or ?? It’s funny. I programmed the web charting a couple years ago and almost nobody has commented on it so I assumed nobody was using it.
