Sorry tube only✌️
Can't afford a roll of AES for now.
I needed a tube and the local guy here in LB has a few with NGC label like the one showing.

I see it as a curiosity only.

A slab collector might want it as as an example of a stickeded tube.

If it exists, someone, somewhere, collects it. Have no idea what price/premium to assign. Cheers, RickO

If some is stupid enough to pay a premium for it take the money and run!

    All glory is fleeting.

coins bear no mintmark. coins are certified based on mint's hand marked serial number on sealed box. Box serial numbers for Philly (and San Fran) strikes are released by the mint, normally via a freedom of information request, who has corrected/changed similar information in the past, meaning a portion of the those coins were incorrectly certified. IMO (P) and (S) labeled ASEs appeal to label collectors only. It's not like there is a die variety in play, these coins were most likely struck with WP dies that were shipped to the other facilities. Without a die marker these coins IMO are worth no extra premium.

Emergency Production? Simply a shift in production during temporary closure of West Point facility.

I understand on the one side people’s desire for little details and precision with where the items were made even though unmarked. On the other side, I think it’s gimmickry to have a premium for these technicalities. As we know, West Point coined for Philly for regular production coinage for years. I think I’ve read that even San Fran coined production as well without mint marks at times. It’s such a fragile and tenuous distinction to me.

It's a goofy label with the 2 "nots", why is it affixed to that tube? Why did the US mint use the NGC logo? Misleading for sure. IMO. Peace Roy
