My 1794 1C Crossed From NGC to PCGS!!!

I submitted a 1794 cent and a 1795 half cent to PCGS last month. I sent my 1794 in 2 days earlier than the 1795. The 1794 was in an NGC slab and I took advantage of the PCGS crossover special. Well it sat in the blue grading stage until today when it flipped to the YELLOW Encapsulation stage!
My 1795 was in the yellow stage 2 weeks ahead of the 1794 so I had resigned myself to the 1794 being rejected and returned in the NGC slab. If I get it slabbed in a PCGS holder I will be doing the happy dance! They will make the perfect matching set! Holding my breath until they post the grades.
My question is does the Yellow stage mean it will be slabbed in a PCGS holder? Inquiring mind wants to know if I can relax yet!🤣😂

No , Encapsulation means nothing. The finalizer is just making sure he agrees with the graders decision on the coin.
I have a crossover that has been in QA for about a week, they know if it crossed or not. Why can't the just tell me the answer only 2 choices?
Oh man! I am so disappointed! Thank you for the answer 😣
Still hoping though... 😂🤣
Good luck... and be sure to come back here and tell us... And, if you get a TruView, post it here too. Cheers, RickO
Thank you! The 1795 I bought raw and that is in the green final stage. I am just waiting for the grade to be posted. If the 1794 doesn't cross I will be disappointed 🤞
Ok....so today the pizza tracker😂🤣 changed from yellow to green which means it's in the** Holder check and label verification** stage! Does that mean it crossed?
In my experience, the time to celebrate is when you have it in-hand and are satisfied with the results.

Of course! This is all new to me. This is the first crossover that might make it for me. I am just looking for feedback from members who have had success and failure with the crossover process🤞
Only if it doesn't get lost in the mail.
It will happen suddenly
That's why I wrote "have it in-hand".

The result is official!! My coin crossed from NGC to PCGS:
1794 1C Head of 1794, BN
Genuine VG Details (97 - Environmental Damage)
I will post pics when I receive it from our host. Right now I am doing the happy dance!🥳🥳🥳🥇🥇🥇🏋️♂️🏋️♂️🏋️♂️🤩🤩🤩😂🤣

Can't wait to see pics!

I'm confused. Unless it were counterfeit, how hard is it to get a details coin to cross?
Not totally useless but I do understand the need for me to posts pics. I will post both my 1794 and 1795 in their new PCGS slabs soon.
I updated this thread because Ricko asked me to post the results.
Mine did too a year or two ago. Was submitted prior to NGC by the family from whom I bought it from. Showed it to dave kahn on the way thru to one of the national shows to drop it off at PCGS for me, On my account, but hand deliver it due to insurance coverage I dont have. I asked Dave if he thought it had a chance, and he said "that coins a slam dunk cross" it did and while he was up there I had it cac'd as well. I just recently sold off my personal collection, but kept this one for the time being.

Your coin is awesome! Congratulations! I sent you a PM.
Congratulations @WQuarterFreddie !

I agree with you! Thanks!😎
Dont be discouraged, thing about coin collecting , is there are coins priced for everybody's budget. I have been fortunate to have some nice stuff over the years, but i still envy posts from some of the big players like tdn, stuart, DR T, PVT coin collector and several others
Well now you can say you have a coin that I am envious of my friend! I would make you an offer but it is worth more than I can afford.
I really appreciate the condition of your coin. Congratulations!
Congratulations on the cross over. I’ll be watching for some pics👍
Thank you! I will post pics soon. Still waiting for shipment confirmation.
I realize both coins did not receive a grade but I am super happy that they are now both in PCGS holders and protected for the future. They will make a great addition to my humble collection.
Now I am in the market for a 1796!😂🤣
Just received shipment confirmation!

I have a spare Liberty cap ‘96...but if you meant the draped bust ‘96, well good luck, those are tough!
I agree also. All my ‘94’ s either are, or would, genny if submitted. Just like my 93’s.... and I still enjoy them.
