Has Derek Jeter said when he will play in the Yankees Old Timers Game?

Has Jeter said when he will play in the Yankees Old Timer's game and do any other teams play an Old Timers Game? I think one of the most famous home runs ever hit in Yankee Stadium was in 1973 when Mantle hit a HR off his friend Whitey Ford in the Old Timers Game. Who would be the best pitcher for Jeter to hit one off - Rivera, Cone., Wells, Pettite, Abbott or Sabathia? Mantle was 41 in 1973 when he hit it off of Whitey. Jeter must do it in the next few years because i don't think he would be capable of hitting a HR in Yankee Stadium past age 50 which is coming up fast for him.

He’ll never play because he owns the Marlins now.

I agree that I’d love to see it but don’t think we will.

I could have sworn when watching the games that Jeter was already playing in old-timers games back in 2014.
