Check out this 1903 Morgan. Stunner!

Picked these two up today for 305$. 98$ for the 1903 and the 207 for the 1878 ! Vam 33 doubled eagle legs.
I asked a member on the forum if they thought the 1903 could possibly be a proof because I seen sharp raised reeds, the strike in my opinion looks great and it's got awesome details. I think it deserves a PL designation... Thoughts? Maybe even a PL on the 1878? Or am I way off .
Edit to add: sorry for the poor pictures. It looks so much better in hand

I don't see either one making PL at either NGC or PCGS, while not a fan of the toning of either as long as you are happy then they are good buys.

No PL, as you can see you cannot see anything in its reflection.
They look lustrous! Nice pickups.

Nice coins but not quite PL.
Looks really nice but not enough to be PL.
@cheezhead
Just for comparison i drew out a scale and put a PL. Against it then put the 1903 against it .

And a non pl 1879-s
Nice looking coins.....I do not think they will grade PL though.....Good luck if you submit. Cheers, RickO
If they are PL you need to be able to read the page of a book off the fields further out than you scale goes.
It needs a good dipping,,,,,,,,,,
Thanks guys! . A member here showed me a PL dmpl scale. I will have to get one so I can get better at determining.
