pcgs tv/slab view
i recall this being discussed and the many benefits it could have. was lazy and didn't want to find one of the previous threads partly as i think the search function isn't working properly.
this doesn't have that wifi/mouse image on the back indicating this has been imaged for a while now. 1 year? 2?
would we pay say. 50c, $1? to have all coins we send in valued at over say, $100 full slab imaged. the point isn't to make money but as a gesture to our wanting to have a wonderful database that should have been in place years ago. just spitballing.

another thought. how would crack-outs affect this?

Are the benefits to this related to knowing what generation slab it is? Or is it to see if the slab is all scratched up? If the latter, people will complain if they purchase the coin and the slab has a new scratch in it. But for people who collect different styles of slabs it might be useful.

That appears to be the "European TrueView". I do like the idea of a basic in-slab image for each coin graded, I feel like this should be included in regular and above service levels, but I also don't mind paying the extra $5 each for a proper TrueView image.
I have one as well: https://www.pcgs.com/cert/37664488

Would be nice to see photos of before and after a regrade stored for a fee to access and a notation saying whether a coin had been regraded. JMO

perhaps. i was thinking more along the lines of authentication by comparison but don't want to limit the creative usefulness to just that.
ok. i do recall that from a not so distant thread on this subject now you mention it. i thought the slabs were at least somewhat obviously different but it doesn't seem that way if this/these are euros.

Seen a few on ebay and had me puzzled.
What makes it worse is the ones who use it as the only image and no zoom.
Typed in the cert# and all I got was the slabs. ARGHH!
I guess it has it's place in an inventory kind of use.

It would be nice to have a TrueView and SlabView. That would be essentially what the major auctions houses do and what eBay requires.
SlabView is great for seeing what text is actually on the slab like variety and provenance, size of coin, etc.
