Worn die + grease?

I know...it's basically junk but I just want to understand at least some of what I think I'm seeing lol.
Rim is still basically sharp and intact... a worn die and through grease as well, maybe...
Thoughts?

    What a horribly produced coin! I'd be ashamed to release something like that. I think you are correct on both counts.
