I like but don't understand what the star is for/represents, on the reverse under "In God we trust"? Looks great though! Anyone know? Ty for any info

I think you are right. I was looking the same dollar coin this week and wondered what that thing was, but I think I recall the same thing.
I got my 7 year old grandson starting collecting with these. He collects the proofs and I collect the reverse proofs. One time we compared them for the differences. He prefers Hunting, Fishing and Baseball. Imagine that.

I have the Mint issue rolls of those and I like them. And I really dig the new dollar coin with feathers.

the Massachusetts design is def my favorite so far, but Virginia's would be sick if they end up choosing this one - such a cool, spatial effect
Actually, I think that’s how I’m going to collect them as well. I’m running out of room for insane amounts of Dansco albums for PD proofs etc. etc.
That phone dial design is interesting... the first one I have really liked... and the new dollar coin also. Cheers, RickO

I like the reverse proofs also. The PA Polio Vaccine is my favorite design and it was also the year I was born.
