Counterstamped Flying Eagle Question

Condition-wise it's a non-starter. But is anyone familiar with this counterstamp?
Thanks

I highly doubt it, sorry
It's just a single punch "1". That's all there is to the story.
Some people collect letters of the alphabet or numbers on counterstamped coins, so someone might need it for their collection.
Thanks. I don't know a whole lot about counterstamps. This one belongs to someone who works in my office. He received it as a gift in high school.

That is one super 1 Have not seen a coin with just a single digit counterstamped before... Must have been special to someone. Cheers, RickO
It could be from the New England Patriots, 1858 Super Bowl champions !
I've got a circulated buffalo nickel sitting around with a single 4 punched on both reverse and obverse. I've always wondered just what that was about... I've kept it for years just for the novelty of it.
