What a great (dark-side) numismatic gift for kids!
I was browsing the Royal Mint site and clicked on their tooth fairy category. [LOL. YES! They have one.] The have some children's books about the tooth fairy but also this great little coin gift for a lost tooth.

Rather than The Mighty Minters, this is the kind of thing I think the US Mint should create for kids. Inexpensive holiday gifts. Why not an NCLT Halloween series and an Easter Series? Do them in copper-nickel for kids and maybe silver for adults.

mommy, why does the tooth fairy shop at the royal mint?
Because she's English, Tommy.

Mommy, next time could I just get the 15 quid under my pillow?
I sure wish I knew the Una And The Lion were for sale. I would have loved to have one in silver and gold.
Now on the secondary market prices are astronomical

Wow... Teeth have sure become more valuable since I was a kid....
Cheers, RickO
Damnable tooth fairy left me a mere 15 quid coin worth only 50p whence all I wants is a gold sovereign.
