Wait. What? Are you saying you just got this email today for the 2021 W ASE?
Yup...
I got one also and called them. They said that they had to verify numbers on the order but the order was still active. I don't know. Time will tell
Oh wow! What day did you place your order? People are saying they were hundreds available today in Mint website 🤔
That looks like a subscription number, not an order number. Its USS not USMO
I ordered as it was available,
Today, This product is currently unavailable. Learn More
Pls clarify. When did you place the order that what cancelled, and did you buy the coin individually, or as the subscription option?
My order number is USMO....
I suspect there is a little more to the story.
February 11th:
Thank you for participating in the United States Mint Enrollments program. Your enrollment order is being prepared for shipment and your account will be charged. This is a confirmation and summary of your order.
Your U.S. Mint order has been confirmed!
American Eagle 2021 One Ounce Silver Proof Coin
WEST POINT (W) Qty: 1
TOTAL: $73.00
So you bought it through the subscription enrollment program? The quantity to fill those orders was not available, apparently, as the coins went unavailable.
The ones being sold since then are ones that pop up as available as the #s shake out.
If you want one I'd suggest playing the 7:30 AM game.
@JBK,
and what is that...? the email stated confirmed
If you want one I'd suggest playing the 7:30 AM game.
If someone gets or has one, please let me know, Thanks.

Gonna cost you though!😉
I think you are missing the key point, which took several posts to clarify.
You apparently went for the subscription instead of the individual coin on issue date, Feb. 11. They did not show that option as "unavailable" immediately even as the coins themselves were depleted.
I assume the order confirmation for the coin was auto-generated based on the subscription order being accepted, but once the #s were tallied they decided they had no more coins for the subscription customers.
There was no way to know things worked that way, but we know now.
Bottom line: apparently subscription orders do not work the same way as individual coin orders.
Based on your experience, I will not view the subscription as a guarantee of receiving a coin. It seems to be a matter of convenience only.
So I called the Mint and after waiting on hold for 30 minutes, I got someone.
Told them the story and as they checked, she first stated that reason for cancellation was my that the CC on file had expires, I replied no it has not. She said that it expired on 8/22. I said that it's not 8/22 yet...
She said oh, let me check... Came back, Oh the reason that it was canceled was because you did not respond. I told her I was not asked to respond and that I had a confirmation e-mail. She said, when did you get this email. I told her that I was sent an email from the US Mint on 2/11 stating that my ordered was confirm with bill to, ship to information and that I would be billed upon shipment and receive notice.. I restated, nowhere in the email did it say that any further action was due from me...
After going back and forth, she "finally" got it, and said she was documenting everything and would escalate my situation.
She repeated everything back to me, She then apologized for the inconvenience.
After what happen last year with the V75 SAE and this, I am not sure why I continue to do business with Mint other than this is my hobby, a coin collector...
I will let the forum know if and what I hear back... Thanks to all that posted a response, Joe
@Joe_360 please keep us posted. I have a subscription as well and received order confirmation. Still shows processing.
"it's not 8/22"
@Joe_360
When did you place the enrollment order on 02/11/21?
I ask because ....
"After you sign up for an enrollment program, you will receive the next product released in the product series. This is because inventory is first allocated to subscribers when a new product is released[,] and subscriptions are only filled once per product release. No previous releases will be included."
Source: https://catalog.usmint.gov/root/enrollment.html
If you signed up for the "enrollment" after the official release, you missed out on the one and only subscription allocation for this release.
Thanks, yes, 2/11. Joe
Sent the Mint to the Cornfield...
That is almost the exact wording of the cancelation that I experienced for credit card error (no middle initial). It didn't really have anything to do with available inventory at the time of order.

Thx all for the backstories. What a farce.
My advice still stands - I snagged one (twice) during the 7:30 AM second chance opportunities. I encourage others to do the same if it will help put them at ease.
I also signed up for 2 ASEs using an enrollment about 6 years or so ago. And I also had my order for the 2021 ASE confirmed and then, earlier this week, canceled. In December the mint also canceled my long-standing enrollment order for 2 of the 5 oz pucks. I immediately re-ordered it and then later that week received another email from the mint stating the first cancellation was in error and my enrolled order would be shipped. So I wound up with 4 of the pucks. Simply put, the mint is not the tightest run ship I've ever seen...
Now that is a little disturbing. I'm not surprised the OP's last minute enrollment was problematic. I'm very surprised that your standing enrollment was not satisfied.
If I get all the ones I ordered, anyone on the forum who wants one at cost+shipping can have them.
All of this confirms my belief that the subscription program is not a reliable option, at least for hot issues.
Shame on the US Mint.
This is beyond incompetent. If they closed the subscription on Feb 10th, they could have just removed the required coins from those available. How they could possibly fail to do that is beyond comprehension.

@jmlanzaf Thanks. Your offer is very kind. I hope I do not need to take you up on it.
👍
As far as I know - based on the confirmation emails I have received from the Mint, mine should be on the way. I certainly do not want to see an email telling me it is not. Stay tuned..... Cheers, RickO
super generous, man - hoping my 2 come through, but awesome you'd be open to helping some of us out w this if chaos ensues w the cancelations 🙌
