well just found this minor die crack on this dime (the die crack is to the left of the T)
about as good as my webcam can do on a minor die crack

Die cracks are interesting on coins... sometimes you can find successive examples as the die moves to failure. Seldom do they add a premium. Cheers, RickO
trust me i know this adds no value to the dime but thought it was interesting as i have not seen one on a dime before

Whenever I see a die crack I like to envision the eventual result.
Did it turn into an enormous cud? Were any examples struck and released? Did the die just crumble into a pile of steel shards?
