They are 2 days slower than me getting it from paypal
It looks like they do a weekly cycle or something. If you are relying on fast turnaround for your capital, it could be an issue. For me the extra hassle of having to then feed from my PayPal back to my bank account is not missed.

You can choose to do daily or weekly payouts...but they don't pay out on weekends so if you choose the daily option and have sales over the weekend you won't get it until Monday.

I'm being converted on Tuesday 2/23. I'm excited!
Getting closer here. After two more tries, eBay was finally able to confirm my bank account. I've gotten a couple of emails with info on managed payments but no date yet.
I got the first notification on Jan 4th & a reminder on Jan 11th , that was the last I heard about managed payments from ebay.
I hope I am one of the last that have to comply.

You can choose daily or weekly payouts, the only thing is that it takes 2 - 3 business days to complete the transaction. I preferred the instant payment from PayPal but it's not like I had a choice in the decision to switch.

I got changed finally a week ago. Its been fine. Although, I admit, folks that are used to needing the money quickly will have to make an adjustment. With PP, I could get a group of sales on ebay say wed night, have payments in paypal by thursday , and send to Bank account by 7pm and would be there fri am. Now, its several days.
I elected to use the ebay weekly payout as its much easier , then potentially having only a few dollars on several days coming in.
Currently, I am still having shipping funds pulled from the old paypal until the rest of the money is divi'd out. I did see a notice from ebay where everything will be pulled from cleared funds after march.
But over all , the process has been pretty smooth.
I'm not looking forward to it.
My sales have increased since going on it.
I switch on the 23rd. My bank never processed PP on the weekends, so managed payment won't be a big change for me.
I am curious about what happens when you get your first return - hopefully that will not be for awhile
I accept returns and my rate is pretty low, so don't anticipate many issues there. Worth it for the reduced fvf.

I'm somewhat skeptical of the new system. I've had upwards of $4K in transactions since the changeover in my account in the last 10 days or so. I realized on the automatic payments which I opted for that it may take a few days. This system is amateurish compared with Paypal.
Edited to add: I researched the transactions and it looks like I got the full payouts.

Paypal can always be used to buy things. But at some point during 2021, all sellers are being converted to managed payments to accept payments.
Not sure what happens with a return, but I had someone open a case because PO delays. They are holding the funds separate until resolved. Once sales reached that hold amount they continued with payouts. Right now I’m on daily payouts with PayPal for my shipping labels. Gonna have to switch it around when I get time.

I got mine also. They said a few days to hit the account, hit the next day after they sent.
Got my first payments on Sunday, the first auto withdrawal was Monday, and my bank showed the funds arriving today (Wednesday). I've never paid attention to how long PayPal took, but at most it could be one day faster, and I had to remember to log into PayPal to do the withdrawal (and plenty of times I forgot). I'm excluding instant transfers which I never used and aren't free. So as far as I'm concerned, there's no appreciable difference between when I have access to my funds compared to PayPal, and I save a manual step.
Now you have to remember to log into PayPal to fund your account, unless you want scores of three dollar transactions coming out of your bank account.
I almost never paid with my balance since outside the rare no-fee payment (many of which much larger than I'd have as a balance anyway because I tried to keep my balance near zero), and credit card transactions passed right through.
Like wise....just received my first one. One day slower than Paypal. (took 2 days for the credit to hit my checking acct. for paypal it took only one day )
