NEWP GTG REVEALED

Type 2 gold Dollar from Grant at DGSE. Mintage was higher than I usually like, but I liked the coin.
The cat says enough. The strong 8 and dollar seems to have carried it to 55.

Depending on the luster(hard to tell from the pics) I give it a range of 53-58.
AU58 Excellent!

AU55 is my guess.
I like it at 55. Very nice coin,
First impression was XF/AU, but probably just a weak strike... or my ignorance of grading the series.
50, but as stated might be the strike. congrats
55 but I would like it better as a 53

I am thinking AU53? Looks to have fair amount of luster left on it.
As long as that is not damage on the reverse rim AU-53.
Love it! Of course I like all gold dollars
that is a nice one.
It took me a minute but I just realized I bought my last two gold dollars from them earlier this month.

Yup 53 to me too
AU55. Nice well struck reverse for a type two dollar.
AU50 today. XF45 40years ago.

Oooh, I'm looking for one of these. Type 2s aren't easy to find, and it's incredibly difficult to find one that floats my boat. Most of them just aren't that nice.
I'm guessing yours is in the AU55 neighborhood.

Looks like a 50 to me... not sure about what appears to be damage by the reverse rim. Cheers, RickO
Revealed in first post. 55 CAC
Excellent choice!

Real nice coin! ... Solid.
Nice looking coin. Mintages are overrated, but if you think otherwise, I'll trade you a lower mintage clad Capitol Visitor's Center half dollar for it.

Actually I pay more attention to survival numbers than mintage numbers, and I will have to pass on the trade as I also consider intrinsic value, but thanks.
