1981-S proof SBA, what type?

What do you think? I was taught the mintmark that is peaked like a mountain range is a type 1 and the mintmarks that look like plateaus on the top of the mountain are type 2's. The link below shows at bottom of page, but I am getting older and eyes not so good anymore

This is the coin I am wondering about

I'm going blind just staring at this mint mark!!! Even enlarged!! My guess is a type one. But I'd really like to see a type 2 and type 1 together for better comparison. The inside of the S needs to be less round and more of an oval.
1-2
That is definitely a Type 1! Type 2 has more bulbous serifs, and more distinct openings of the loops.

thx, and welcome to the boards The_Dinosaur_Man
Looks like the type 2 to me. Needs more votes cast though. Looks more triangular than bulbous on the lower serif.
I'm a variety guy and I am ashamed to admit I can't tell the damn things apart and quit trying years ago.
It is not type 2. Type 2 has the bulbous ends as previous comment suggested, and the type 2 mint mark is flat. I hope this helps you.
The first picture looks like type 2, the second like type 1.... Can we have a straight on picture without glare?? Cheers, RickO
How is this, proof coins make it harder to focus
tried again
OK...Looking like type 1 in that last picture.... Cheers, RickO
Type 1.
