Yep ... and a nice one too.
Yes... and a good specimen....Save it in a blank album with a label. Cheers, RickO

Ty for always commenting i really appreciate your knowledge
These are the result of overpolishing the die to remove clash marks. I don't know if there is a market for them. They are interesting, tho. It might make for a worthwhile endeavor to try to assemble as many dates as possible of the floating roof varieties.
And I thought yall were pulling my leg!
BST: KindaNewish (3/21/21), WQuarterFreddie (3/30/21), Meltdown (4/6/21), DBSTrader2 (5/5/21) AKA- unclemonkey on Blow Out
So real quick just notices the date and mint mark ...is that machine doubling or ddo. I'm pretty new so not sure??
Here's a better picture
70-S pictured above: mechanical doubling
A full set of circulation strikes might be possible. Wouldn't that be an interesting oddity?
That it would. It's similar to the two feathers variety on the Buffalo nickel.
Damm I never knew of this variety, now, I will have to check all my Lincoln Memorials again!
Agreed. Man that's a neat one. I never looked either.
See? We can always learn something.
