This happens to me 2-3 times a day. Google "ebay report seller". That is the best recourse I have found. Until I see
"USPS in possession" I never assume i have won it.

neg him (if you can) and describe what he did in your feedback.

either way, he's added to my block list, so thank you.

@76collector... You've been here long enough to know that language isn't necessary or approved of. Please find a better way to get your point across next time.

Sorry man, I agree. Not necessary. That's just one of my pet peaves when a guy sells something and then bails because the card has gone up in value. Won't happen again.

@76collector Agreed, it is a drag. Happened to me a month-or-so ago and it still rankles...

I have had the same issue several times over the years. You win, seller cancels and relists for higher price.

Years ago I won an auction for a RB I was betting on to do something. Well, The following day, that player had a breakout game and card prices shot up. I never received the card.

I would never do it as a seller, but there's sadly little penalty involved for those that have no ethics or are just greedy. Sorry this happened and thanks for providing the link to the seller so I know to avoid.

At least when you deal with an action house there is a contract on both sides. Not saying that there can't be sellers or buyers who won't honor the contract, but it is much more difficult and painful.

There's a contract on both sides of eBay too, but unless it's a very high dollar item, it's not worth fighting from a monetary perspective. 51B Mantle, different story.
