1883 N/C Nickel with obverse die cracks and a strike through

This 1883 N/C nickel has several die cracks extending from the top and bottom edges, a strike through between Liberty's head and the stars, and a possible small planchet flaw to the right of her hair. I have two other 1883 nickels that have numerous die cracks on the reverse. Was there a problem with the dies for the first year of issue with this design or did this problem plague the entire series?

I'm no expert, but I like it.
Paper money eventually returns to its intrinsic value. Zero. Voltaire. Ebay coinbowlllc

if you start looking into this kind of thing, the question becomes, "which years didn't have dies that either didn't hold up or were used past their life expectancy."
the exceptions of the top of my head are the low mintage year non-branch mint dies.

Cool die cracks coming off that star.
That strike-through is very cool, too. Looks like a little piece of string?
Interesting die cracks ... looks like lightning coming off the star....Cheers, RickO
Common in the series. Here is mine...
