Young selling off these cards (and the incredible premium these top end cards are collecting) tells me that the money on the table is likely going to bring some other cards to market that previously had not seen the light of day in years, if not longer.

No matter how much Dmitri thinks his divorce cost him, in reality it cost him 10X (maybe more) that amount since he had to sell his collection to pay for it.
Yes, but he can buy 9s to replace the 10s and still have buckets and buckets of cash left over; pretty nice if you ask me.

BTW - I don't believe the divorce story. I lived in Detroit when Dmitri played there and there were rumors that Dmitri was having money problems. I don't think the problems were related to cards.
i own and have owned quite a few of the dmitri collection. none of the big boys, but of course wouldn't have paid the price for some of those 10s when they hit the market originally. a lot of gifted 10s in there, imo.
