seems like an really large contract for bauer. he had a great 11 games last year, but holy cow. i hope he isn't a one year wonder

I always liked Trevor Bauer when he was with Cleveland, he never suffered from a lack of talent. what he suffered from is something else as he proved to be a "head case" that's well documented and understood by Indians fans. I didn't like it when he went to Cincinnati but it was time, his actions were starting to have a negative affect on the clubhouse.

if he has his demons and maturity issues under control he can be dominant on the mound. best of luck to TB and the Dodgers.

I remember him as being a solid pitcher when he pitched against the Twins.

In looking at his numbers, prior to last year, he had 1 superb year out of the 6 where he was a full time starter. The other 5, his ERA was over 4.18 and his WHIP was also unimpressive.

Perhaps his performance in 2 out of the last 3 years is what the Dodgers were looking at. If he can pitch this way consistently it will be a great signing. He didn't pitch so well in 2019 though. Obviously that was the year he got traded.

Hard for me to agree that he should be the highest paid player in baseball.
