Gary Parietti, RIP

I just found out that Gary Parietti passed away last summer. Gary was a well-known dealer who set up at many shows along the East Coast. He was from Long Island. He was friendly and honest, he would always answer a question with an honest answer. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. His obituary (which includes a picture):

RIP
Very sorry to hear this
I give away money. I collect money.
I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.
Oh NO!! This is aweful. He was the one guy that I was always very friendly with at the shows, and he would always safely hold my things at his table. I spent the most time talking coins with him at all the Westchester shows, out of everybody else. Such a nice guy. We have also traded back and forth a bunch of times. I will miss our conversations and hand shakes. RIP Gary!

RIP Gary I remember him at the white Plains shows when it was in that dungeon of a basement. Was one of the good guys always very fair and willing to work with you with trades and everything
I remember him from all the shows, as well. RIP, Gary.
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
Very pleasant guy to deal with at the Westchester show. My condolences to his family and friends.

I'm sorry to hear of Gary's passing. A nice guy, and enjoyed talking to him at shows--he was set up near my table at the Baltimore show. Condolences to his family.
My condolences to family and friends. RickO
Really sorry seeing this RIP Gary
I'm going to miss Gary - he was always one of my go-to dealers at the FUN show and at the International Paper Money Show in Memphis/Kansas City. Unfortunately, a lifetime of heavy smoking caught up with him at the relatively young age of 64. Here's the last note I bought from Gary - at the International Paper Money Show in Kansas City in 2019:

So sad. Not only was he a great guy, but Gary was the only witness to one of the funniest things that’s ever happened to me.
We were outside the Embassy Suites hotel in Saint Charles, MO waiting for a cab to take us to the airport. Two young girls were outside also and started starring at us. Finally one them walked up to me and asked me “are you Rick Springfield?”
Every time I would see him at a show he’d say “hey, it’s Rick Springfield!”
It was our secret. And we laughed about it every chance we got!
I looked at the obituary and i immediately recognized him from the White Plains shows. I dont remember if i ever bought anything from him but he always seemed like a nice friendly guy. Sorry to hear the news
Sorry to hear this.
Thank you for posting this, since I hadn't heard the news.
I didn't get to the last Westchester show (was White Plains, now Tarrytown), but the one before that I didn't see Gary. I always enjoyed talking with Gary, and he always had an interesting inventory to discuss. I'm going to miss seeing him at the shows.
My condolences to his family and friends.
