The Yonaka book you posted covers all of the mints except Mexico.
Gilboy covers them all including Mexico. The book is rare and expensive.
Yonaka has another book on the fractional issues of Mexico excluding the 8 reales. From what I understand he is working on an update to include the 8 reales as well.

Thanks I will look into his other book on fractional issues that is already available. Just curious how expensive is the Gilboy book?

Would this be a better book if I only focus on coins minted in Mexico City? Is this book go into full detail for the 1/2 Reales and 8 Reales from Mexico City?
Gilboy is much better than Yonaka's reference for background information, as the focus of the two differs. It's a "must have" if you are interested in this topic though maybe some of the older references I do not own (and don't want) have equivalent information.
I find Yonaka's rarity estimates (from his survey which Gilboy did not claim to do) to be a lot more consistent with my personal experience and to a point, what's in the TPG data though this is limited. This is more for Bolivia, Guatemala and Peru than Mexico since I don't actively buy the latter.
I'm not sure where Gilboy got his estimates. Much of it seems to be relatively accurate but in absolutely terms, seems like he just made it up. I have somewhat better context now from the mintage records included in Yonaka's second book as the numbers are much bigger than I had expected in many instances, but this still isn't consistent with the plate coin images in Gilboy. If so many of the coins were as available as he claims, he should have been able to find much better examples than he did and often without much difficulty.

No. It only lists each variety and assigns a rarity estimate to it. Yonaka's is the only book I have seen which does this which is why I wanted it. I know others do for other series but I do not collect it and don't own the book either.
