My Great Grandmother’s Lincoln cent collection
Granny Ford passed away in 1986. These two albums were hers. Tucked away in a safe until last year. Very red. I stuck them both in ziplock bags to preserve the condition. These belonged to the mother of my grandfather Pa of which the raw Morgan stacks I’ve posted belonged to. Keeping it all in the family.

If any of the 82’s are zinc and those holders are Whitman’s, you may want to remove them.
what happens to them?
See photo, I am not sure, but maybe some Lincoln experts can chime in.
Edit, I like granny’s coins.
Thanks for sharing!
thanks for sharing, too!
Folders like this from circulation are my favorite way of coin collecting. The dime and nickel folders hiding back there look interesting too!
Not sure what's going on with the cents, but even in ziplock bags if they were in a humid area the copper probably reacted with the cardboard
