Backwards nickel?

Was trying to sell some proof sets on the bay and noticed this nickel was not in the packaging correctly. Anyone ever see this before? Does it fetch any kind of premium? I highly doubt it does, but just curious

You have to include a small mirror with that set. Peace Roy

is the obverse interesting at all?

I think (not sure) that those cases open up so no added value. Even if the set is sealed an error like this is a curiosity and would not add much value.

To err is human...no added value I would imagine.

these sets are easily opened to access the coins that probably explains it.

At best, it's a packaging error.

And as mentioned above by Keets,
the plastic can be opened easily.

    Not worth a premium, imo,.

No added value, just open it and flip the nickel over.... Likely how it happened in the first place. Cheers, RickO

Whaddya mean? This is clearly a major error coin!!! The mint stamped the Reverse on the front of the planchet, and the Obverse on the back of the planchet!!!😂

If I was in the market for a proof set, I'd pay less for one like that than for a regular set.

As others have said, packaging errors seldom have much if any added value. It's a very neat curiosity though.
